Tamur river fishing with Regulus begins from Bashantapur. It is located in the southeast of Kathmandu and is around 10 hour drive from the capital city. We pass through traditional villages enjoying the ethnicity of the place for four days to arrive at the Tamur river. The splendid view of mountains, valleys, greenery, and winding rivers makes the trekking blissful. The trek ends at Gupha Pokhara (Cave Pond). From here we descend gradually penetrating the lush green vegetation of Tamur Valley. We keep on walking till we arrive in Dobhan. It is the starting point of our Tamur river fishing trip.

Regulus will provide you the rafting and fishing instruments. The adventure ahead is really thrilling and full of excitement. Challenging the rapids of Tamur River we proceed ahead. Here you will get a chance to fish different species of fish.

While on the day we will keep on fishing and rafting whereas during the night we will enjoy the fish, local culture and musical instruments of the site. It is really great experience in life. We set camp at the river bank for a night's stay.

Best Season For Fishing in Tamur River Nepal

Fishing in Nepal can be done throughout the year but the recommended best time is the autumn and spring. The best time to fish in the Tamor river is between the monsoon seasons. The best season for fishing in Nepal is February to May and September to November for the chance to battle a fish in the serene mountain environment.
