12 Days Nepal Mountain Tour

Upon our arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a. representative from Regulus Nepal will greet you & will drop us off at our hotel. After checking in, we take a rest & In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by us in a typical authentic Nepali restaurant with a Nepalese cultural show.

Start with breakfast today, you will head for a mountain flight in the morning that would give you an incredible view of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, etc. for an hour.

Following that, in the afternoon you will be taken to enjoy the local sights in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight in Kathmandu

After having breakfast we leave Kathmandu for Pokhara- a City of lakes. We either go in a private vehicle or a tourist bus. It takes around six to seven hours to reach Pokhara. The journey in between is so marvelous. You can view the Trishuli River, have a cable car ride to Manakamana temple, and enjoy the views of beautiful natural waterfalls on the way. Right before entering Pokhara the breathtaking view of Machhpuchhre (Fishtail) mountain will leave you speechless. You will be at Pokhara by noon. You can roam around Pokhara. If interested, in the evening you can enjoy boating at Phewa Lake. You can explore the nightlife of lakeside, Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

After breakfast we leave for Nayapul from Pokhara. It is a starting point for jomsom trail. Tikhedhunga is our instant destination where we will spend our night. A short walk along Modi Khola will lead you to Birethanti where many tea houses and tea shops are found. Again, we follow the north bank route of Bhurungdi Khola. We arrive at Hille after a steady climb and further a short climb will take us to Tikhedhunga.

Our first and foremost destination for today is Ulleri. We head towards Ulleri after breakfast. Ulleri is a place where many Magar people exist. It is situated at an altitude of 2,070m. We again go upwards and reach Banthanti. We move through rhododendron and oak forest to reach Nangethanti. After walking furthermore for a couple of hours we come to Ghorepani which will be our ending day for today. Ghorepani was popular as a trading destination for local people in past. Ghorepani village offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Today we will witness something unusual. We wake up early in the morning and move to Poon Hill by climbing along the steep trail to the viewpoint & experience the amazingly beautiful view of sunrise. As the rays of the sun strike the surface of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, the awesome scene will lighten your day and somehow your life too! Views of Mustang, Pokhara, and more than 20 of the highest mountains including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri are the main highlights of this short trek to Poon hill. Being there for an hour we will come back to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, we will move further ahead to reach Deurali. In the middle of the way, you will see a beautiful pine forest. Our next stop is Banthanti. To spend our night we further take a route and reach Tadapani.

Walking through the dense bamboo forest now we reach Ghandruk. It is a beautiful village where the majority of Gurung people are seen. We will explore the Ghandruk village where all the houses are made of stones, and the rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people & have a visit to Gurung Museum in Ghandruk. Overnight in Ghandruk.

After viewing the beauty of Ghandruk, now it is time to get back to Nayapul through Modi Khola. We will rent a vehicle to reach Pokhara from Nayapul. Overnight in Pokhara.

Early morning, 30 mins drive to Sarangkot (1600m.) a popular & world's best viewpoint to enjoy incredible sunrise over the Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna range & Dhaulagiri massif. Back to the hotel for breakfast & refreshment. Proceed to the full-day Pokhara city tour. Enjoy boating in Phewa Lake to visit the Tal Barahi Temple which lies in the middle of the lake at an altitude of 800m above sea level & then we will visit Seti Gorge, the Mountain museum & Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Return back to the hotel for lunch & we will continue our Pokhara sightseeing tour to White Peace Stupa.

Back to the lakeside, here ends your Pokhara city tour. For the rest of your free time, you can explore lake areas, do your shopping, hangouts & return back to the hotel by self walk. Overnight at the hotel.

After having your breakfast we will prepare ourselves for leaving Pokhara, and drive (6/7hrs) to Kathmandu. Lunch on the highway restaurant. After arriving back in Kathmandu, transfer to Kathmandu hotel. Check into hotel, tea|coffee & refreshment. The rest of the day is yours, enjoy your leisure time exploring the local street markets or departmental stores for personal activities like shopping.

In the evening we will have a farewell dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant with the cultural show. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, guided sightseeing tour around Bhaktapur Durbar Square & then drive to Nagarkot for overnight stay. You can enjoy the world's best sunset & sunrise views along with the breathtaking mountain views on a clear weather day from the Nagarkot viewpoint tower.

Our 12 days Nepal Mountain tour in Nepal comes to an end today! A representative of Regulus Treks will take us to the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight for final departure.
