What is the best time to do the Annapurna Royal trek?
The best time to do the Annapurna Royal trek is in the spring (March, April, and May) and autumn (September, October, and November) seasons. These two seasons have ideal weather and trail conditions for trekking in the Himalayas.
The trekking routes are bustling and decorated with thousands of flowers. Likewise, the moderate climate and steady weather allow for a lovely experience. The temperature ranges from 5°C to 22°C.
During the summer/monsoon (June, July, and August) and winter (December, January, and February), the weather is very poor and challenges are quite high. Therefore, it is not a good idea to do the Annapurna Royal trek in these two seasons.
Travel insurance for the Annapurna Circuit trek
Travel insurance is important for the Annapurna Royal trek. You cannot join this trek without it. The travel insurance must cover emergency helicopter evacuation and medical bills. This is to make sure you are getting proper attention in case of a medical emergency during the journey.
You can also include flight cancellation, baggage loss/theft, etc, coverage in the travel insurance. As the Annapurna Royal trail does not have adequate health facilities or proper means of transportation, travel insurance is very important.

Altitude sickness is a common illness that trekkers suffer from during high-altitude activity like the Annapurna Royal trek. Not everyone suffers from it, and it is also quite avoidable and manageable. First things first, altitude sickness happens because of an elevation change and if your body is not acclimatized.

If you feel any discomfort or see symptoms like headache, vomiting, difficulty in breathing, insomnia, nausea, loss of appetite, etc, inform him immediately.
