Kailash Mansarovar Yatra for Nepalese

Begin your journey from Kathmandu, driving 141 km (approximately 6 hours) through scenic mountain roads to reach Syabru Besi or Timure (altitude: 1,600 meters).

Travel 15 km from Syabru Besi to Rasuwa Gadhi, followed by a short 15-minute walk to the Nepal-China border, complete immigration formalities, and drive 25 km (45 minutes) to Kerung (altitude: 2,850 meters).

Spend the day in Kerung to adjust to the altitude while enjoying the serene surroundings and relaxed pace.

Drive 220 km (approximately 5–6 hours) to Saga (altitude: 4,550 meters) while enjoying stunning mountain views along the way.

Travel 450 km (around 7 hours) to reach the sacred Mansarovar Lake (altitude: 4,550 meters), where you can circumambulate the lake by vehicle and collect spiritual water.

Drive 35 km (1 hour) to Darchen (altitude: 4,650 meters) while completing the remaining circumambulation of Mansarovar Lake and performing spiritual rituals.

Begin the Outer Kora trek with a visit to Yam Dwar (Tarboche) and trek 12 km (5–6 hours) to Derapuk (altitude: 4,860 meters) with a stunning view of Mount Kailash’s north face.

Trek 22 km (8–9 hours) through the challenging Dolma-La Pass (5,700 meters), the highest point of the yatra, to reach Zuthulpuk (altitude: 4,670 meters).

Trek a short distance to meet your vehicle and drive 470 km (7–8 hours) back to Saga, where you can relax and reflect on the journey.

Drive 220 km (5–6 hours) back to Kerung (altitude: 2,850 meters), concluding the trip with group reflections and certificate distribution.

Complete immigration formalities at the Nepal-China border and drive 140 km (7–8 hours) back to Kathmandu to conclude your sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
